Whoever is responsible for the interior design of this uptown club should give themself a pat on the back. Regal purple and gold dominate the lounge and the VIP section has a bit of an Alice In Wonderland feel like you´ve just crawled through a rabbit hole.
As with many of Barcelonas ¨high-end¨clubs, there are podium dancers shimmy-ing their perfect bodies most nights of the week for the gawking male clientele (and a few jealous females).
The music is a mix of commercial dance and they often have Barcelona´s infamous saxophone player on a podium, tooting along to the beats-always a crowd pleaser.
Adhere to the dress code and don´t do anything to piss off the (easily irritated) bouncers and you can have a great night out here. The line can be long on certain nights of the week and it´s probably best to have a few drinks before arriving because they can be slightly more expensive but you do come to expect that in this kind of place.
On a personal note, I find the strobe lights that they use very irritating, to the point of making it hard to navigate my way across the dance-floor…but maybe that´s just me and a sign that I´m getting old!??
