If you are tired of shopping at H&M, Shana, Primark and other chain stores just to look like everyone else, head to the second hand/ vintage shops and do something good for the environment.
Unfortunately, I feel that Barcelona is severely lacking in its number of these kind of stores for a city that is so arty and alternative.
Humana is a chain of second hand stores that you may have seen in a few other European countries- they sort their stock meticulously, have tidy stores and the prices are set rather than being up for negotiation. In some of the stores you can find ¨three-for-one¨ deals and things like that. Personally find the prices to be a bit high and prefer the stores where it’s more of a treasure hunt to find something good, like you´ve really worked for that one off bargain! All the same, a nice place to shop…
Carrer Avignyo has a great selection of vintage stores that you could spend a whole day perusing. On the other side of La Rambla in Cituat Vella you can find Carrer Riera Baixa which is also worth a look (not many pieces under €20 though).
Roba Amiga second hand fashion store with selected pieces, rather than donated goods on Carrer dels lledo, 4.
