First of all, I love the name of this bar; any reference to vintage photography is a winner in my book. Second, it definitely is a wonderful place to visit, especially on Sundays when they have a movie night. Everything goes through a democratic process, people go online to vote for the movie they want to screen, from a selection of fine films, and the chosen film is shown on Sunday night. The entrance fee is a measly five euros, for what you will receive a hot dog with chips, popcorn and a drink. I believe this is one of the greatest deals you will find in Barcelona, so think of it anytime you need a cheap place to go out on a fun date. The best thing about it is that you can stay after the movie having a few drinks, just enjoying the bar and company. The decoration of the bar is not my favorite  but their special activities make up for them. I visited the first time on Halloween, when they had a special costume party, everyone there was in character, even the bartenders and barmaids, and the drinks were quite affordable, that was another plus. Since then, I have been going to the film screening Sundays, and every once in a while I have been stopping by for a quick beer and a little small talk.

Hello Everyone! My name is David Picon. I am a cinematographer living in Barcelona. I love this city, it has wonderful sights, beautiful architecture and some great parties, not to mention awesome beaches. I enjoy going out, mostly to jazz and hip-hop clubs, but every once in a while I go in for the electronic venues. Other than that, I am an intense foodie, and a film buff.
