Welcoming you to the gallery sits a mannequin studded with thousands of red, Swarovski jewels and her loyal companion, a dog layered from head to toe in silk leaves. The shop is home to a few more of these impressive statues, just one of the interesting points of this creative haven. Although this is more of a shop than a gallery- to those of us on a budget it’s more than suitable as the latter. This place makes me warm to the idea of a sugar daddy who could shower me in their fares.

I spent half an hour perusing the cabinets of interesting, beautiful and downright bizzare pieces. If you´ve ever wanted a necklace of a chicken claw holding a pearl, a ring that looks exactly like a monkeys head, globule pendants encrusted in coral, or earrings that look like bags of oranges this is the place to go. One of my favorite displays were the kooky vintage style portaits of well dressed human bodies with animals heads.

It has a nice local feel to it too, as you a browsing you can see the staff creating said, weird and whacky pieces inside the gallery.

The galeria does have regular jewels as well, and a stunning range of ceramics and portraits, check it out on your wanders!

Becky Robinson
Hola! My name is Becky. I´m yet another Australian expat who fell for the beautiful mistress we like to call Barcelona and stayed far, far longer than once intended. I throw myself into the cities events, bars, clubs, shops etc, with reckless abandon to bring you these reviews. It´s all for you! ...Or is it just an excuse to party and spend lots of money without feeling guilty?... Either way, read up on some of my favorite ways to see this exciting and eclectic city. Happy travels and welcome to BCN!
