I have to admit that being somewhat of a connoisseur of erotic museums, with Paris, Amsterdam and Prague under my belt (mind the pun) I was a little disappointed by Barcelona’s contribution.

It´s displays were interesting and I learnt a thing or two, but the museum is quite small in comparison to it’s counterparts in other cities. Apparently, size does matter…

In saying that though, if you are just after a 30 minute refuge from the crowds of La Rambla, this is a nice place to do it. You can even chill out in their newly opened garden or partake in some people watching from the balcony with a glass of champagne.

They have a healthy amount of wooden willies, ceramic vaginas, some beautiful erotica to peruse and a mini-cinema showing vintage porn. As with all erotic museums, there’s plenty of karma sutra in the form of statues, posters, paintings and photography.

Take a friend for a giggle or go on your own, but beware, you could find yourself sitting in a pokey cinema watching vintage porn with a 50 year old man.

They offer discounts for students, groups (and kids under 8 get in for free…??).
General: 9 €
Students and seniors : 8 €
Groups of more than 10 people: 7 € each

December 25th and 26th, closed.
Accessible to people with reduced mobility

Becky Robinson
Hola! My name is Becky. I´m yet another Australian expat who fell for the beautiful mistress we like to call Barcelona and stayed far, far longer than once intended. I throw myself into the cities events, bars, clubs, shops etc, with reckless abandon to bring you these reviews. It´s all for you! ...Or is it just an excuse to party and spend lots of money without feeling guilty?... Either way, read up on some of my favorite ways to see this exciting and eclectic city. Happy travels and welcome to BCN!
