This place is cool. It is right next to Drassanes metro station, on the Ramblas. You could not ask for a better location. It is surrounded by cool bars that you could visit while you wait for the club to get fired up; it usually cranks up the heat around two in the morning. The light situation is amazing, the club is visually compelling, there are all kinds of lights and colors  plus some kick-ass LED screens which fill the room quite well. Club Boulevard is filled with different types of people, which probably has to do with its two very different rooms. One room is mainstream music mixed with oldie hits, people pack this room to dance to their favorite all-time tunes. The other room is nothing but hip-hop, and all the varieties you can think of: Fast hip-hop, slow hip-hop, hard-core hip-hop, mainstream hip-hop and underground hip-hop. I loved this room, especially the people, all dressed for the occasion, every single one of them dancing their butts off to the beats. You would occasionally see a dance-off battle breaking out, leading to some super sweet moves, and some crowd cheers, jeers and awes. Break dancing is also a common occurrence within the party ranks, almost every night there is a good chance of spotting someone in the middle of the room spinning on their head.  So, I stand corrected, this place isn’t cool, it’s awesome.

Hello Everyone! My name is David Picon. I am a cinematographer living in Barcelona. I love this city, it has wonderful sights, beautiful architecture and some great parties, not to mention awesome beaches. I enjoy going out, mostly to jazz and hip-hop clubs, but every once in a while I go in for the electronic venues. Other than that, I am an intense foodie, and a film buff.
