Hidden away in the Raval quarter, next to L2 Sant Antoni underground stop, you’ll find Jazzsí club, a fantastic live music venue. They host good Cuban, Flamenco and Jazz bands during the week for 8-9 € (first drink included) and organise Jazz/Blues/Pop/Rock Jam sessions for 4 -6 € (first drink included) during the week and at the weekend. All live music gigs are performed in the evening.

Jam sessions:

Tuesdays at 7:45 pm (Blues/Pop/Rock)
Wednesdays at 7:45 pm (Jazz: Free admission with one drink minimum)
Sundays at 6:30 pm (Blues/Pop/Rock)

Bands:
Thursdays at 8:30 pm (Cuban music)
Fridays at 8:30 pm (Flamenco music)
Saturdays 7:45 pm (Jazz music)

The place has two floors but it isn’t very big. It gets easily packed with people, especially on Sunday evening. So, try to be there 45 minutes in advance to get a good place to see. Before the gigs start you can have a drink and relax with your friends.

I particularly like the Blues/Pop/Rock Jam session on Sunday evening. The atmosphere is fantastic and people get very excited. Come round early to register your instrument at the counter and join the band on the stage if you are a musician. Well, if you don’t fancy playing but enjoying the music like me, get a cold beer and soak up the atmosphere. This easy-going, well attended jam night attracts players and music lovers from all places and nationalities.

Eva Verges
Hello, there! I’m Eva. I’m 33 years old and happy to live in Barcelona, where I was born. Enthusiastic, dynamic, open-minded, friendly and patient. I have always had itchy feet and enjoyed travelling and exploring new places. Eager to learn more and more every day and embark on new adventures for treasure hunts. A Barcelona lover who becomes homesick when is far from her charming city for a long period of time. I like mingling with the melting pot, getting lost in the narrowest medieval streets of the Gothic quarter and smelling the aroma of countless enticing cafés. Its eclectic non-stop style doesn’t let you stay at home. An excellent hostess and tour guide.
